Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile has opened up about the challenges he faced with his parents while rising to fame in the music industry.
Speaking during an interview, the music star revealed that his parents initially doubted the source of his wealth, especially after he bought his first house in 2019 at the age of 25 to gift them, shortly after his breakthrough.
According to him, they believed the money was linked to internet fraud.
“My parents refused to live in the first house I bought in Lekki because they thought it was fraud money… I had to print my account statement to show them I am being honest,” Zlatan said
