Olivia Rodrigo has officially revealed the name of her third studio album. Taking to her Instagram, she announced that the project will be titled You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, with a release date set for June 12th and pre-orders already open.
She shared the album cover too, which shows her in a pink dress, soaring on a swing. The record was produced once again with Dan Nigro, her longtime collaborator behind Sour (2021) and Guts (2023).
Rodrigo has been hinting at the new music for months, and in her recent British Vogue interview she explained that the album will feature “sad love songs.” She reflected on how the best romantic tracks often carry undertones of fear or longing.
London also played a big role in shaping the record. Rodrigo mentioned spending significant time there while writing, and said several songs capture the city’s vibe and her experiences during that period.
