Thomas Tuchel says he holds no anger towards players who have withdrawn from the England national team squad ahead of Tuesday’s friendly against Japan national team.
Several senior players, including Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, and John Stones, have pulled out following Friday’s 1-1 draw with Uruguay national team.

The England manager admitted disappointment but stressed the withdrawals are understandable given the demands on players at this stage of the season.
“I’m disappointed, but not with the players – with the fact we want to have everyone in good spirits and health,” Tuchel said.
“It’s the reality of end of the season… the reality of having players in European matches and more than just one competition.”
